The festive season is a time for joy, togetherness, and giving back to the community. This year, Xanderia had the honour of being part of the heart-warming Sunbeams Christmas Party held on Monday, 23rd December 2024, at the Yayasan Sunbeams Home in Kuala Lumpur. The event brought smiles, laughter, and festive cheer to children, families, and volunteers alike.
The celebration featured a variety of exciting activities. From heart-warming performances to gift exchanges and delicious treats, every moment was filled with the true spirit of Christmas. Xanderia was proud to contribute to the festive joy by supporting the event and connecting with the incredible children and caretakers at Yayasan Sunbeams Home.
One of the most touching moments of the day was seeing the children’s faces light up as they received their gifts. The joy and gratitude shared reminded us all of the power of compassion and community. Xanderia’s Board of Directors Dr Arul Raj Rajoo and Dr James Christopher had the special honor of handing out presents to the children, creating unforgettable memories for everyone involved.
The event also included a special performance by the children, showcasing their talents through singing. A heart-warming highlight was their Christmas carol performance, filling the room with the magical sounds of the season. Their enthusiasm and creativity were truly inspiring, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present. Volunteers and staff worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure every child felt special and included throughout the celebration.
Following the performances and gift-giving, everyone gathered for a delightful Christmas lunch.
The meal was filled with laughter, joy, and a sense of togetherness as guests shared a meal together!
In addition to the festivities, there was a heartfelt speech from Pastor Alvin Tan, the Founder of Yayasan Sunbeams Home. Pastor Alvin Tan, expressed deep gratitude to all sponsors, volunteers, and contributors, reminding everyone of the importance of love, care, and community support. It was a beautiful reminder of how collective efforts can create meaningful change and bring happiness to those who need it most.
